Do I have to be a member to apply for NBLC certification?

No. NBLC membership is separate from NBLC certifications. However, as a NBLC member, you'll have access to many benefits, including discounts on your certification exam fee and professional development opportunities to help maintain your certification(s).



Do I need to be certified to join the membership program?

Certification is not a prerequisite for joining. But, membership does provide several resources for members who wish to delve deeper into certification, including details on preparatory classes and the exam.



How long is my membership cycle?

NBLC membership is valid for one year from the date of your membership activation. You can renew your membership as early as 90 days from your expiration date. To find your membership status, go to your nblcert.org dashboard.



Can I opt out of automatically renewing my membership?

Yes, auto renew is an optional feature. If you prefer, you can turn this feature off and renew it yearly via phone or online.



What happens if I do not renew my membership on time?

If you do not renew your membership and your membership lapses, you'll no longer have access to membership benefits like discounts on certification, leadership app, member-only webinars, or additional CEU opportunities. If you rejoin as a member, the activation fee will apply. Membership automatic renewal ensures continuous access to your membership benefits without interruption.



When do I need to renew my membership?

You can renew your NBLC membership as early as 90 days before expiration. Membership renewal is based on the most recent join date.



Can my membership be canceled and refunded

NBLC Membership is non-refundable and non-transferable. You can choose not to renew your NBLC membership at your next expiration.
