NBLC-certified professionals must renew their certification every 2 years by completing a balanced mix of continuing education and leadership practice. This process helps you:

To successfully complete the recertification process, you’ll need to submit:

  • Leadership Practice Documentation – Evidence of ongoing engagement in leadership roles
  • 20 CEUs – Continuing Education Units focused on leadership development
  • 20 Hours of Leadership Experience – Direct application of leadership in your field
  • CEU Summary Report – A reflection on how your learning contributed to impact

CEUs are time-based: 1 CEU = 10 hour of approved learning or contribution
