Overview

The NBLC Distinguished Fellow designation represents the highest level of credentialed leadership mastery within the National Board for Leadership Certification. This elite recognition is awarded to leaders who have completed one NBLC core certification and five specialization certifications within the same certification scheme—demonstrating advanced competence across strategic, operational, and sector-specific leadership.

Distinguished Fellows are recognized as high-impact executives, strategists, and change leaders, capable of cross-functional transformation, decision intelligence, and ethical governance across industries.

To earn the Distinguished Fellow designation:

  • Complete 1 NBLC Core Certification
  • Complete 5 NBLC Specialization Certifications within the same leadership framework

There is no exam or separate coursework required beyond completion of these certifications.

This fee covers official credential review, verification, designation processing, digital credentialing, and inclusion in the Distinguished Fellow Registry.
